Product overview
Continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers provide non-contact marking for fast, continuous production. A compact printhead projects ink onto products as they move, making the technology suitable for flat, curved, irregular, and hard-to-reach surfaces.
NEST CODING can review the product material, code content, line speed, operating environment, ink performance, installation space, and integration requirements before recommending a suitable system. Final equipment and ink selection should be confirmed through an application assessment and sample testing.

Frequently asked questions
These answers are general guidance. The formal quotation and confirmed datasheet take precedence.
CIJ continuously circulates ink and applies small droplets without contacting the product, which suits fast lines and varied surfaces. TIJ uses replaceable cartridges and is often selected for high-resolution coding. The best choice depends on the application.
Suitable ink and setup may support plastics, glass, metal, coated paper, cartons, cables, and other materials. Adhesion and drying performance should be verified by testing the actual substrate.
Many systems can work with product sensors, encoders, alarms, and line controls. The mounting position, speed signal, guarding, utilities, and interface requirements should be reviewed before installation.
Provide the product and substrate, sample code, line speed, product spacing, available mounting space, operating environment, current equipment, and a clear line photo or video where possible.
